HABITAT FOR HUMANITY 

Join UF Law SBA in building a home for a hardworking Gainesville family. Volunteers will assist with building walls and installing doors and windows. We look forward to furthering our service goal of making a positive difference in the Gainesville community.
 
New volunteers have to bring a completed Volunteer Application with them to the job site. The form is available at the link below. Volunteers must wear shoes that enclose the toe/heel and have a sole similar to a tennis shoe/hiking boot.
 
We will provide water and lunch!

PEACEFUL PATHS POP-UP THRIFT SHOP 

 

 

This three-day shopping event is held in the Janet Larson Community Education Room at the Peaceful Paths Outreach Center. UF Law SBA is teaming up to help sort and set-up for the February Thrift Shop.
 
The selections available for purchase vary at each Thrift Store Event. Historically, we have seen household goods, kitchen items, furniture, baby items, toys and a small collection of clothing and shoes. All items are community donations.
 
We’re proud that 100% of the net proceeds from each Pop-Up Thrift Store Event go towards direct client assistance.The items made available in our Pop-Up Thrift Store Events are collected after our clients have taken what they need. Donors can designate a donation of goods to the Pop-Up Thrift Store if they choose.
