UF Law Fundraiser for Parkland Shooting Victims

This past Valentines a day that should have been filled with love and friendship was instead filled with horror and chaos for the students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida.

For many students in our law school community this hits very close to home. While were all wondering what we can do to prevent this from happening again, we can also focus our efforts on helping those affected.

The Florida Association of Women Lawyers (FAWL), Student Bar Association (SBA), Entertainment and Sports Law Society (EASLS), the Latino Law Student Association (LLSA), the UF Military Law Student Association (MLSA), Mental Health Law Association (MHLA), Law Association for Women (LAW), and ACLU at the University of Florida Law are teaming up with Krispy Kreme to fundraise for the victims families.

We will be in the courtyard all week taking pre orders for donuts as well as making cards which we will be sending to the hospitals where victims are being treated.

We have a goal of $1000 and 100% of the profits will be donated!

Please come out, make a card, buy donuts and make someones financial burden a little lighter. By the end of the week we will all be a little more proud to be a gator. 🙂

A DOZEN donuts will be $8
and will be available on Thursday for pick up in the courtyard,
as well as individual donuts will be sold for $1 each on Thursday
